Odesa In.City - unique panel discussions about Odesa

How much does commercial real estate influence investors' willingness to invest in the city's development? How does the inclusion of Odesa and its centre in the UNESCO World Heritage List affect the ongoing construction and reconstruction process in the city centre?

These and other questions were raised at the Odesa In.City event, which took place on 21 August in Odesa. At this event, architect, urbanist and designer Nata Golovchenko acted as moderator for two panel discussions.

She and other organisers attracted more than 200 people to the event and spent almost six hours together, during which Nata Golovchenko and a number of interesting speakers, from representatives of the Odesa Regional State Administration to developers, answered many pressing questions that concern Odesa residents. These included the specifics of commercial real estate construction, from pricing throughout Ukraine to attracting investment to the city, and the restoration of Odessa's historic centre and how it will take place.
